Hi Christian Kaatz, thanks for reaching out!
Supporting more editors & IDEs like Xcode is on our roadmap but isn't a top priority at the moment. We still have a bunch of things we'd like to improve in the core product before making it more widely available by integrating with other editors and project management tools.
But given your interest, we did a little investigation this week to see how much work it would take to support Xcode.
Unfortunately it's really hard to tell if Xcode could even accommodate our extension's features.
There is little documentation and the majority is out of date and refers to defunct projects like Alcatraz. The one page that's up to date only describes an API to do text manipulations in the editor. And this blog post seems to confirm our worries.
We'd need to contract some Xcode experts to do a deeper assessment and help us figure out if our extension could be ported to Xcode, and if so, how to go about it.
I'm sorry, I imagine that's not what you were hoping to hear. We could explore this further if you were ready to sponsor some of this work, but currently it's not something we can afford to prioritise 😔

Nick Omeyer: Thank you Nick for getting back! We'll check how it fits into our tooling for iOS projects - git/second editor but let's see.
