Right now, my Slack and GitHub users are identified as two different users, so if I send one report from each, then the tech debt item would count that as two people affected

Keep it between us, but it's a semi-manual approach so you might temporarily see different users for new reports, but we're keeping an eye on it and linking them up asap 💥
